Plumas Swim Team
PO Box 407
Quincy, CA 95971
Our objective is to provide a swim team for the youth in Plumas County . Our mission is to provide physical, emotional, and social growth of swimmers through training and competition. The team is managed by the head coach and supervised by a board of directors. The Plumas Swim Team is a summer competitive swim program for children 4-18 years of age. As long as a child can get across the length of the pool, they can join. Swimmers are placed into groups based upon their ability and age. Each child will be placed into the group that best suits their ability as determined by the coach during the first week of practice. To become a member, the registration packet must be completed and all fees paid before a swimmer may enter the water. The USA Swimming and Sierra Nevada Swimming fees are non-refundable, as the swimmer must be registered with them to be covered by their insurance. If you are not sure if your child can swim across the length of the pool, you may participate in our try-out day first, without charge. If you can not make the set try-out date, please call the head coach to schedule another time. The registration packet can be downloaded on this website, picked up at the Recreation Department office, or by calling our team secretary. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send an email to [email protected].
